WSPBuilder is one of the most used and most popular community tools for SharePoint developers. Originally a command-line tool for helping to actually build WSP packages, the tool has continued to improve and develop over time, now including support for SharePoint 2010. In addition to the command-line capabilities, WSPBuilder also has great Visual Studio plugins to make our lives as developers even easier. In this episode, Carsten Keutmann, SharePoint MVP from Denmark and creator of WSPBuilder, tells us about WSPBuilder’s past, present and future as well as how the new Visual Studio 2010 SharePoint tools fit into the picture.
